Module 6
PMHCA Mental HealthTesting Interventions using PDSA Cycles

This module focuses on testing and refining change using Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles. It helps teams move from planned interventions to real-world learning, build confidence in what works, and determine when a change is ready to scale.
Key Focus Areas: Selecting and prioritizing interventions, understanding and improving reliability, conducting PDSA cycles, and making informed decisions to adopt, adapt, or abandon changes.
What You Will Be Able To Do: Choose and sequence change ideas, test interventions on a small scale, assess reliability across settings and teams, interpret results using data and observation, and determine next steps based on what you learn.
Getting Started: Begin with “Selecting and Prioritizing Interventions” to choose a starting point. Use your Key Driver Diagram to identify a high-impact, feasible change idea and test it through a small PDSA cycle to generate early learning.
