The national assessment period is now open!

The Prehospital Pediatric Readiness Project Assessment provides EMS and fire-rescue agencies the chance to better understand their ability to provide high-quality care for children. The assessment was developed with the input of numerous experts and is based on a joint policy statement and technical report on prehospital pediatric care.

  • The assessment is open to EMS and fire-rescue agencies that respond to public 911 calls and render care.
  • The assessment takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.
  • Results are confidential.
  • Participants will receive a gap report, including benchmarking information.
  • If you'd like help preparing or want to know more about what will be in the assessment, view our checklist or assessment preview.
  • See what other EMS clinicians are saying about the assessment here.
