Learn about the PECC Workforce Development Collaborative on July 14
- Published June 30, 2021
Pediatric emergency care coordinators, also known as PECCs, are vital to providing quality care to children in emergency settings. Led by the Emergency Medical Services for Children Innovation and Improvement Center (EIIC), the PECC Workforce Development Collaborative is a free program that will provide resources, training, and networking opportunities with specific tracks for prehospital practitioners and hospital-based providers.
A 30-minute webinar on July 14 at 2 pm CT will provide a detailed overview of the collaborative and give participants the opportunity to have their questions answered. The webinar is a collaboration of EIIC and several national organizations, including the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Emergency Nurses Association, the National Association of State EMS Officials, and the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma.
To register for the webinar, visit ACEP’s webpage. (Note: registration is free but required through ACEP’s site.) To learn more about the collaborative, visit its webpage. The collaborative begins September 2; registration ends August 1.
