In partnership with the Indiana Emergency Medical Services for Children Program and Indiana Rural Health Association, Region V for Kids hosted a workshop on best practices for caring for sick children during a disaster and preparing rural communities for everyday pediatric readiness. Participants from various healthcare communities were also introduced to available resources and support, and topics included:
