Honors

  • Congratulations to Charles Macias, MD, MPH, who is the 2021 recipient of the Jim Seidel Distinguished Service Award from the American Academy of Pediatrics. The award recognizes an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the field of pediatric emergency medicine. Dr. Macias will receive the award on Oct. 9 during the Section on Emergency Medicine meeting.

PEAKs: Coming soon!

Keep an eye out for EIIC’s Pediatric Education and Advocacy Kits (PEAKs) on Suicide Screening and Management of the Agitated Patient. Both PEAKs will begin to roll out content in mid- to late September (National Suicide Awareness Month).
