EMSC announces new Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network Awards
The Health Resources and Services Administration’s Emergency Medical Services for Children program is pleased to announce seven cooperative agreement awards for the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN) program for the 2019-2022 grant cycle to the following sites:

PECARN has been funded since 2001 to implement emergency care research to improve clinical care and health outcomes for children experiencing an emergency. PECARN Emergency Departments serve approximately 1.3 million acutely ill and injured children every year and the EMS affiliates account for about 113,000 pediatric runs annually.
