Ohio — State Partnership
Ohio EMSC State Partnership Program
March 10, 2026 - Present
- Project Overview
- The purpose of the Ohio EMS for Children State Partnership Program is to improve access and quality of emergency care for children and reduce serious injury and illness. The program will improve Ohio’s ability to care for acutely ill and injured children by focusing on improved pediatric emergency care coordination in emergency departments and EMS agencies, developing both prehospital and hospital based pediatric readiness recognition programs, further developing our statewide disaster preparedness for pediatric patients, and further partnering with family representatives. Progress will be measured against national performance measures and program objectives established by HRSA. Our areas of focus will be expansion and support of pediatric emergency care coordination and disaster preparedness, as well as program sustainability. Over the four years of the grant, we aim to meet or exceed national performance measure targets.
