May 20, 2026: HAPPY EMS FOR CHILDREN DAY!
Happy EMS for Children Day!
The Ohio Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) State Partnership Program would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all healthcare professionals—especially those across Ohio— who dedicate themselves every day to caring for ill and injured children. From EMS clinicians in the field to emergency department teams and hospital staff, your commitment to pediatric care makes a meaningful difference when it matters most.
In recognition of these efforts, we are honored to share that state leaders have issued a proclamation designating Wednesday, May 20, 2026, as EMS for Children Day in Ohio.
This recognition highlights the importance of ensuring emergency systems are prepared to meet the unique needs of children and acknowledges the vital role that EMS agencies, hospitals, and healthcare professionals play in delivering high-quality pediatric care statewide.
