Meeting Objectives

This meeting focuses on providing Pediatric Mental Health Care Access (PMHCA) program awardees with opportunities to explore multiple pathways to facilitate connections with emergency departments (EDs) using innovative approaches guided by health care quality improvement methods. By the end of the meeting, teams will develop a presentation to educate EDs on their PMHCA programs and what they can offer to EDs.

Meeting Outcomes

1. Identify a pathway(s) to connect with emergency departments.
2. Gain improved knowledge of quality improvement methods to assist in the creation of projects related to ED connections in their respective states.
3. Prepare a presentation on their project for the August 24th ED STOP meeting. (a high-level overview of PMHCA and your programs).
