PECC Learning Collaborative

To support EMSC State Partnership Grant recipients and their efforts in increasing the number of local EMS agencies with pediatric emergency care coordinator (PECC) the EMSC Innovation and Improvement center launched the Prehospital Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator Learning Collaborative in October 2018.

As a result of the collaborative a total of 525 new PECCs, 142% of the overall goal, were recruited.

Although the collaborative has concluded, its resources can help guide endeavors to increase the percentage of EMS agencies with a designated individual who coordinates pediatric emergency care.
