Overview
Goals: (1) evaluate the pediatric advanced life support component of New York City's EMS system; (2) enable the paramedics of New York City's EMS to intubate all children regardless of age; and (3) develop a quality assurance mechanism for pediatric advanced life support that will continue after the funding period and serve as a model for other EMS systems.
