Project Overview
Maintain continued compliance with the federal HRSA EMSC program performance measurers by assuring state rules and regulations remain in place for on-line and off-line medical direction, state categorization and verification process of trauma care facilities capable of taking care of pediatric patients, trauma system transfer guidelines and agreements, pediatric representation on the state’s EMS Advisory Council, EMSC Pediatric Advocacy Committee, full-time EMSC program manager. Work towards 100% compliance of national pediatric equipment guidelines on patient care units of state authorized EMS services, conduct a pediatric readiness assessment with the state hospitals concerning capabilities to treat pediatric patients.
