Plenary: NHTSA Update on the Revision of the EMS Education Standards

This presentation will bring you up to date on the current status of the EMS Education Standards revision project. This project is being led by the National Association of EMS Educators (NAEMSE) and is funded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Office of EMS, and the Health Resources and Services Administration, Maternal and Child Health Bureau's EMS for Children (EMSC). Team leadership will explain the scope of the project and its intended goals and outcomes and how it is directly informed by the 2018 EMS Scope of Practice. The team will also be seeking information on any specific Pediatric issues that may impact the revision of the EMS education standards.
