Panel Plenary: The Evolving Role of the EMSC Program Manager

Description:

Though the EMSC mission has remained the same – to reduce the mortality and morbidity of pediatric emergencies, the EMSC Program priorities and focus have changed and grown over the years. To accommodate changes and growth of state programs the role of EMSC state managers has also changed requiring new skill set, knowledge and implementation strategies to be successful.

At the end of this session it is anticipated that participants will be able to:
Define the role of the EMSC program manager.
• List new EMSC priorities requiring expansion of the EMSC manager role.
• Identify EMSC manager skill sets essential for success
• Discuss the need for expanding the breadth and depth of EMSC via partners.
