Indian Health Service presentation: Suicide is the 8th leading cause of death among all American Indians and Alaska Native people across all ages and rates are rising. The purpose of the Ask Suicide Screening Questions Quality Improvement Pilot (ASQ QIP) within Indian Health Service to initiate a universal suicide risk screening to address health disparities leading to suicide among American Indians and Alaska Natives.
