- Published November 1, 2025
The 2026 EMSC National Pediatric Readiness Quality Initiative (NPRQI) Collaborative, formerly known as the Pediatric Readiness Quality Collaborative (PRQC), launches in January. This nationwide initiative brings together emergency departments (EDs) of all sizes and pediatric volumes to improve pediatric emergency care, strengthen quality improvement practices, and prepare for the 2026 National Pediatric Readiness Project (NPRP) Assessment, launching in March.
Participating in NPRQI helps ED teams enhance pediatric readiness, share best practices, and implement evidence-based interventions that improve outcomes for children and families.
