HRSA New Job Opportunity - Health Scientist

The Health Resources and Services Administration, Maternal and Child Health Bureau has posted a Health Scientist position with the Emergency Medical Services for Children Program, GS-14 level. Applications will be accepted through 3/26/2020.
The position will require serving as a Project Officer and Scientific Advisor for the Injury & Emergency Medical Services for Children Branch. The major duties and responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and oversight to grant and cooperative agreement programs including the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN), Targeted Issues, and Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) Data Center programs.
- Advising PECARN on potential study concepts and protocols.
- Leading data analytics that support the administration of the EMSC program.
- Developing technically sound and data-supported recommendations for advancing the Maternal and Child Health field.
