Family Advisory Network feature: Looking back at 2021
- Published January 30, 2022
2021 went by in a flash! Even though things seem like they sped by, the Family Advisory Network still accomplished a lot:
- Completed the FAN job description
- Created FAN-specific mission, vision, and values
- Conducted a State Partnership Manager Survey of FAN Needs
- Lead six FAN sessions for the All-Grantee Meeting
- Created a FAN Story Database
- Embedded FANs into EMSC Innovation and Improvement Domains and Workgroups
The FAN has made some tweaks to its Story Database to make it easier to use. If you haven’t checked it out recently, take a look and share a story with us! The database is geared toward FANs, but any family looking to share a story related to pediatric emergency care can participate.
The FAN also has a number of projects it will be working on throughout 2022:
- FAN University – a series of learning modules for FANs on a variety of topics. Module topics to be released in 2022 are:
- Educating and Informing Decision-Makers
- FAN 101
- State Partnership Managers 101
- FAN Peer Mentoring System
