Cindy Chang, MD
Dr. Chang is currently an emergency medicine resident of Los Angeles County-Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and will begin a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in July 2021. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at UC Davis and worked as a clinical research coordinator for PECARN prior to earning her Doctorate in Medicine degree at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. She previously served as the Chair of the EMRA Pediatric Emergency Medicine committee and was selected as the recipient of the EMRA Resident of the Year award. Dr. Chang is passionate about improving the care of ill and injured children across the nation by improving the preparedness of all emergency departments through research, advocacy, and education. She is also invested in addressing health disparities and providing equitable care to under-resourced, vulnerable, and marginalized patient populations. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, traveling, photography, cooking, and trying out new restaurants with her fiancé, Frank.
