Jefferson Barrett, MD, MPH

Jefferson Barrett, MD, MPH grew up in a small town just south of Boston, MA and attended Providence College for undergrad. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, he completed his residency at The Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center, where he served an extra year as Chief Resident. Dr. Barrett is currently a third year Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital and serves as Chief Fellow in his final year. He has conducted research in medical education, resident wellness and high-value care. In addition to disaster medicine and preparedness, his current research includes analyzing the association between firearm fatalities and poverty in United States.
