Prehospital-Based Care Domain Fellow

Hoi See Tsao, MD, MPH is a third-year pediatric emergency medicine fellow at Hasbro Children's Hospital, Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Her research interests are in pre-hospital care and medical education. As the Emergency Medical Services for Children Innovation and Improvement Center (EIIC) Prehospital Domain fellow, she has been working with EMSC to conduct interviews with pediatric emergency care coordinators to learn about their experiences on the ground and develop best practices. Her fellowship project has involved performing a needs assessment on pre-hospital pediatric analgesia in Rhode Island and designing an educational intervention to improve the management of pain among children. Outside of fellowship, she enjoys watching musicals, traveling and exploring new neighborhoods for good restaurants.
