Participants
This Exchange is open to EMSC State Partnership Program Directors, Managers, and those working on pediatric readiness recognition programs. Participation is voluntary, and intended to support work toward achieving the EMSC Performance Measures related to EMS and ED recognition programs.
Benefits to participating:
- New opportunities to network with EMSC State partnership program managers working through similar barriers
- Collaborate with other participants overcoming barriers and implementing pediatric recognition programs
- Exchange and share valuable resources and experiences with other participants.
Structure
The Community of Practice launched in February 2024 and will run for one year based on the participating team’s needs and progress. It will consist of sessions on the third Thursday of the month from 1:30-3:00 CT. Attending sessions is encouraged; however these sessions will be recorded and shared with those unable to attend. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to attend optional focus group meetings.
State Partnerships Update Sessions- A place for participants to come together and discuss their work related to recognition programs, share specifically what's working, what gaps remain, and opportunities for shared problem solving.
Focus Group Meetings- A time for participants to discuss either prehospital or ED recognition programs,with opportunities to work together to address current barriers.
