Aaron Salinas is a Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of patient care experience. He started as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic and worked his way to becoming a Licensed Paramedic. Wanting to do more for his patients, Aaron continued his education, completing his Bachelors of Science in Nursing, his Masters of Science in Nursing, two Post Masters Nurse Practitioner Certification Programs, a graduate certificate program in Rural Health, and will be completing his Doctoral degree in May 2021. Aaron has continued his education and continued being involved in the profession and is part of professional organizations where he serves as a board member in many of them. In addition to continuing his doctoral education, Aaron has recently completed a fellowship program with Alliance for Nurses Health Environment (ANHE), worked with a community-based organization, and raised awareness of how environmental factors can affect our health. His main goal is to continue and improve access to care in medically underserved areas.
