Scholars and Fellows
The Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) Innovation and Improvement Center launched the EMSC Fellows and Scholars program in 2021 in an effort to grow future leaders within the EMSC space. The two opportunities target engagement of clinicians and health system trainees, as well as those new to the EMSC space. The goal is to incorporate quality improvement methodology and a systems-level approach to improving the care of children. We are happy to announce that the Pediatric Pandemic Network (PPN), of which the EMSC Innovation and Improvement Center is a core partner, is expanding these learning opportunities through the new PPN Scholars program. The EMSC Fellows Program is designed to allow healthcare professionals to get involved in the EMSC Innovation and Improvement Center (EIIC)-led efforts to improve care for children across the healthcare continuum.
The EMSC Scholars Program is designed to support clinicians and health systems professionals, or those new to the EMSC space, in becoming leaders in the pediatric emergency arena through the development of a scholarly project.
