Project Overview
One goal is that 25% of Minnesota hospitals will be recognized in a standardized system as being able to stabilize and/or manage pediatric medical emergencies. Objective 1: To develop criteria for a standardized system to recognize facilities able to stabilize and/or manage pediatric medical emergencies by fourth quarter 2014. Objective 2: To recognize hospitals meeting the criteria by second quarter 2016. Another goal is that we will work toward establishing permanence of EMSC in Minnesota by engaging EMS stakeholders and generating ongoing support for EMSC initiatives.
