The ESI provides a method for categorizing ED patients by both acuity and resource needs

National Pediatric Readiness Project

The National Pediatric Readiness Project is an initiative of the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) Program with support from multidisciplinary organizations.
