National Pediatric Readiness Project

The National Pediatric Readiness Project is an initiative of the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) Program with support from multidisciplinary organizations. The project empowers emergency departments nationwide to improve their “Pediatric Readiness” or capability to care for acutely ill and injured children.

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) provided financial support for this and other National Pediatric Readiness Project works. The award totaled $2.5M with 20% of this total used to support this and other National Pediatric Readiness Project works. The contents are those of the author. They may not reflect the policies of HRSA, HHS, or the U.S. Government.
