Andy the Ambulance is a remote-controlled, fully animated simulation unit designed to teach injury prevention and raise awareness of emergency medical services (EMS) at public events and educational programs. This engaging vehicle offers a fun, interactive way to connect with youth and inspire them to learn about safety and EMS.

Ideal for classrooms, assemblies, mall exhibits, fairs, fire prevention events, EMS open houses, and other community settings, Andy chats with children in age-appropriate language, responds in real time, and uses lights and sounds to create an engaging learning experience. The unit combines education with entertainment, helping participants absorb safety messages more effectively in a positive, friendly environment.

HOT CARS CAN BE DEADLY Prevent child vehicular heatstroke. Every 10 days a child dies from heatstroke in a vehicle. Know the danger A parked vehicle can become dangerous fast — even before it feels extreme outside. +20°F A parked car can heat up about 20° in 10 minutes. Cracked windows do little. 3–5× A child’s body temperature rises 3 to 5 times faster than an adult’s. 104°F Heatstroke can begin when core body temperature reaches about 104°F. 107°F A body temperature of 107°F can be fatal. Act immediately. Once you park: Stop. Look. Lock. 1 STOP Never leave a child alone in a vehicle — not even for a minute. 2 LOOK Check the front seat, back seat, and cargo area before locking. 3 LOCK Keep vehicles locked, keys away, and check cars if a child is missing. Tip: Put your phone, bag, or shoe in the back seat and ask childcare to call if your child doesn’t arrive. CALL 911 SEE A CHILD ALONE IN A VEHICLE? Call 911 immediately.
