Prehospital Pediatric Readiness Project

The Prehospital Pediatric Readiness Project (PPRP) is an initiative of the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) Program with support from multidisciplinary organizations. PPRP empowers EMS and fire-rescue agencies to become "Pediatric Ready," or prepared to provide high-quality care for children in accordance with national recommendations.

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) provided financial support for this and other Prehospital Pediatric Readiness Project works. The award totaled $2.5M with 12% of this total used to support this and other Prehospital Pediatric Readiness Project works. The contents are those of the author. They may not reflect the policies of HRSA, HHS, or the U.S. Government.
