Psychomotor skills refers to hands-on activities, such bag-mask ventilation, suctioning, and performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Cognitive skills are the core skills your brain uses to think and reason. Examples of these include use of the Pediatric Assessment Triangle (PAT) and interpretation of physical exam findings of acutely ill and injured children.
Behavioral skills are interpersonal behaviors that connect to successful performance. Examples include providing patient- and family-centered care, being culturally aware, and using principles of team-based care.
