The Gulf 7 Pediatric Disaster Network (G7) is dedicated to developing and implementing educational tools and resources for hospitals, healthcare providers, healthcare coalitions in the Gulf Coast Region.
Pediatric Disaster Training Course for healthcare professionals, medical response personnel, emergency managers, public health professionals, and medical volunteers
Multiple Locations
This 2-day, 16-hour course will be a standardized, national-level pediatric disaster training focused on emergency management, public health, clinical preparedness, and resiliency and recovery. At the successful completion of the course, participants will recognize components necessary to developing a comprehensive community and facility plan designed to improve pediatric clinical and post disaster resilience.
- This course provides 15 hours of CME, CNE, and EMS CE credits.
- Free of cost for all registered attendees.

Trauma and Grief Component Therapy Learning Collaboratives for Community & School-Based Clinicians & Counselors
The G7 Mental Health workgroup conducts Trauma and Grief Component Therapy trainings for community and school-based clinicians and counselors in our region, to help them provide counseling for children/students experiencing trauma or grief following natural disasters.
