Welcome to the Clinical Resources Domain of The Gulf 7 - Pediatric Disaster Network (G7), a group dedicated to the development and implementation of clinical resources for the G7 network. Our goal is to support the G7 network in providing exceptional care to children and families affected by disasters in the Gulf Coast region. As part of the Clinical Resources Domain, we are responsible for gathering subject matter expertise across our region and developing consensus guidelines and toolkits for responding to a range of events, including the inclusion of children and youth with special health care needs in preparedness efforts, CBRNE events, high consequence infectious disease response, mental health issues, trauma surge, burn surge, and overall capacity and capability building. This includes working with healthcare providers and other partners in the G7 network to ensure that all members have access to the knowledge and resources they need to provide high-quality care during disasters. In addition to developing clinical resources, we are also responsible for providing education and training to healthcare providers in the G7 network to ensure that they have the knowledge and skills they need to effectively use these resources. This includes partnering with organizations such as the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) to create specialized courses and drills, as well as providing ongoing support and guidance to healthcare providers in the G7 network. Our goal is to support the G7 network in its mission to provide exceptional care to children and families affected by disasters in the Gulf Coast region. Thank you for visiting our website and we hope you will join us in our mission to support the growth and effectiveness of the G7 network.
