Project Overview
Oregon EMSC Objectives include: EMSC 01: By January 1, 2019, all Oregon licensed EMS transport agencies will be reporting complete NEMSIS 3 data or have an approved waiver. By the end of 2021, 100% of licensed EMS agencies will be compliant and reporting without exception. EMSC 02: By 2022, 40% of Oregon licensed EMS agencies will have a designated Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator. EMSC 03: By 2022, 40% of Oregon licensed EMS agencies will be evaluating EMS practitioners’ pediatric skills at least once per year. EMSC 04: By 2022, 30% of hospitals will be recognized as part of the new Oregon Pediatric Readiness Program. EMSC 05: By 2022, 50% of Oregon’s designated trauma centers will have implemented pediatric trauma stabilization and/or care guidelines. EMSC 06: By 2022, 70% of Oregon hospitals will have written interfacility transfer guidelines that cover pediatric patients and that include specific components of transfer. EMSC 07: By 2022, 90% of Oregon hospitals will have written interfacility transfer agreements that cover pediatric patients. EMSC 08: Establish permanence of EMSC in Oregon EMS system by the end of 2018. EMSC 09: Establish permanence of EMSC in Oregon EMS system by integrating EMSC priorities into state rules by the end of 2027.
