This document identifies key quality improvement areas of focus that hospitals may consider adding to their pediatric quality improvement dashboard. Specific options are outlined within each area of focus, and can certainly be expanded upon.

The purpose of the this online educational module is to provide a review of mass casualty incident (MCI) triage concepts and tools such as Simple Triage and Rapid Treatment (START) for adults and JumpSTART© for children. This presentation was developed as part of a train-the-trainer workshop series created by Illinois EMSC to assist hospitals in developing their pediatric mock code programs, and to review basic mock code facilitation and debriefing skills.
