The Eastern Great Lakes Pediatric Consortium for Disaster Response (EGLPCDR) hosted a virtual telehealth exercise designed to demonstrate and test pediatric disaster telehealth activities. Consortium organizations performed a series of functional tasks related to pediatric disaster and surge response.

  • Multi-state coordination of pediatric disaster response
  • Just-In-Time pediatric behavioral health training
  • Remain-in-place versus long distance transportation decisions
  • Consultation during air and ground evacuation
  • Use of portable ultra-sound technology during pediatric telehealth consultation
