Prehospital Evidence Based Practice (PEP) is a collaborative effort of Canadian and international EMS clinicians (paramedics, physicians, nurses and other allied health professionals). PEP is sponsored and managed by the Dalhousie University Department of Emergency Medicine Division of EMS, and Emergency Health Services Nova Scotia.

Prehospital Pediatric Readiness Project

The Prehospital Pediatric Readiness Project (PPRP) is an initiative of the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) Program with support from multidisciplinary organizations. PPRP empowers EMS and fire-rescue agencies to become "Pediatric Ready," or prepared to provide high-quality care for children in accordance with national recommendations.

The Prehospital Pediatric Readiness Project (NPRP) is supported by the EMSC Program through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of an award (U07MC37471) totaling $2.5M with 0 percent financed with nongovernmental sources.
