The Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) program is designed to enhance the health and safety of public and firefighting personnel and to provide support for emergency responders regarding fire, medical, and all hazard events.
Our Mission is to impact the lifesaving capabilities, and the lives of local heroes and their communities by providing lifesaving equipment and prevention education tools to first responders, non-profits and public safety organizations.
Grants are reserved for Law Enforcement Departments, Fire Departments, and Paramedic or EMS departments. Request are limited to Equipment and Training only (building costs, or operating costs are not covered under this grant).
