This survey helps emergency departments (EDs) informally assess nursing staff’s preparedness to care for pediatric patients. It includes questions on clinical experience, comfort with pediatric conditions, procedural skills, communication, and family-centered care. EDs may tailor the survey to local needs, and use every 1–3 years is recommended to support continuous education and quality improvement.
