00:10:22 Sonya McBryde: is dina sharing slides? 00:10:40 Sonya McBryde: ok 00:27:32 Gabrielle Smith: Do you go to your Quality Team to lead change strategy initiative to coordinate stakeholders? how often do you meet and check in with them if so? 00:31:42 Michelle Moegling: We pull in the quality staff at community ED's. When rolling things out we routinely touch base monthly. We have worked hard with our system to get embedded time in the system ED quality network. 00:36:15 Gabrielle Smith: Thank you for the discussion 00:37:03 Yvette Woody Mitchell County Hospital: I had stayed over for staffing due to not having enough staff. 00:37:40 cbalderrama: We collaborate with UNM from NNMC. 00:38:21 Lisa Gray: Anyone created an elevator pitch for a previous project (or this one)? 00:38:23 Robbie Besel: We have worked with University of New Mexico to improve our Child Readiness and they have helped us with training, although everything is delayed due to Covid 00:38:26 Gabrielle Smith: I am new and finding more Gaps at each turn... I am working to network within first, not at a point to reach community as an ED yet... It is one of my goals for the future. The LA PDLN Group is an amazing resource 00:38:36 Michelle Moegling: EIIC https://emscimprovement.center/domains/pediatric-readiness/ ENA https://www.ena.org/my-account/home ENPC https://www.ena.org/enau/educational-offerings/enpc Scott Debose http://pedied.com/ Children's Hospitals https://www.masspediatrictoolkit.com/ https://www.seattlechildrens.org/healthcare-professionals/access-services/ambulatory-services/clinic-referrals/algorithms-referring-providers/ 00:39:18 Michelle Moegling: http://www.bkat-toth.org/untitled2.html 00:39:41 Michelle Moegling: Pediatric Nursing Procedures 4th by Bowden 00:44:53 Brighan DeFazio: I work as a clinical nurse specialist for pediatrics at my hospital. I am listed as a pediatric champion for our region, as well as our ED educator. I haven't worked in an ED ever, so am unfamiliar with the flow. My scope includes pediatrics at our entire hospital however, not just the inpatient unit. Oftentimes I am thought of as just the CNS for the inpatient unit. So collaboration and implementing projects that are 'outside' of inpatient peds unit is a struggle. 00:47:45 Rosemary Thuss (she/her): Even as a tertiary care centre, our Children's Hospital often feels like an afterthought within the larger hospital organization 00:47:56 Gabrielle Smith: That's one of my hurdles...getting a seat at the tables where these change strategies are being discussed and decided. 00:48:00 Brighan DeFazio: Yes, it is a struggle! Thank you for the comment 00:48:35 Whitney Jerred: I am actually in the same position for my hospital as well. It can be overwhelming at times 00:49:58 Whitney Jerred: I am doing the same as Erin. I am placing the "pediatric considerations" element within the adult policies as well. 00:51:32 Yvette Woody Mitchell County Hospital: I would love to share my information: 00:51:42 Laura Garcia: Laura Garcia PdLN, PIH Whittier laura.garcia@pihhealth.org 00:51:43 Jennifer Maguire: jennifer.maguire@commonspirit.org 00:51:48 Brighan DeFazio: Agree.
