Caitlin Farrell is a pediatric emergency medicine physician and the Director of the Section on Pre-Hospital Care and Emergency Medical Services at Boston Children's Hospital. She has worked locally with Boston EMS and has led a statewide collaboration with the Massachusetts EMSC to develop and deliver simulation-based pediatric education to EMS providers. In her role, she provides education on Emergency Medical Services for the PEM fellows and actively engages both fellows and faculty in community EMS educational events.

She received her MD in Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in Pediatrics at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She completed her fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Boston Children's Hospital where she was chief fellow. She joined the faculty of the Division of Emergency Medicine at Boston Children's Hospital in 2016.
